Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Mouad Berqia, an individual based in Morocco, who operates Kinereel at kinereel.com ("Kinereel", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use Kinereel for a company, you confirm you can bind that company, and "you" includes it.

Kinereel turns a topic into a short vertical video: it drafts hooks and a script, synthesizes a voice, animates scenes, adds sound effects and exports an MP4. You approve each step. AI models do much of the work.

We improve and change the Service over time, and may add, change or retire features. If we remove a feature you paid for, we will tell you and give a fair remedy.

You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough under your local law to enter a contract. You must not be barred from using the Service by law. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

• Sign in with Google or an email link. Give us a real email address.
• Keep your sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account, except on plans that include seats. Do not share or resell access.
• Tell us at hello@kinereel.com if you think someone else has used your account.

Credits

Each step of making a video costs credits. The price shows before you run it, and nothing runs until you approve it. Prices can change; the price shown when you approve is the price you pay.

Plans and windows

Plans give you credits through two rolling windows: a budget for any 5 hours and a budget for any 7 days. Credits you spend free up again as they age out of the window. Current plans: Free (15 credits a week), Creator ($19/month), Pro ($49/month) and Studio ($129/month). Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price. Features and limits for each plan are listed on the pricing page and can change for future billing periods.

No rollover, top-ups

Unused plan credits do not roll over. Top-up credits (80 credits for $5) do not expire while your account exists. We use them when a window is full.

Failed steps

If a step fails on our side, its credits are returned automatically.

Payment, tax and renewal

Payments are handled by Whop, which is the merchant of record. Whop charges you, collects applicable taxes and issues receipts under its own terms. Paid plans renew each period until you cancel in Whop. Cancelling stops the next renewal. We do not store your card details.

Refunds

Refund requests for plan and top-up payments go through Whop. Email hello@kinereel.com with the email you paid with. We will help resolve it with Whop, and may refund in full or part when a problem is on our side. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Codes and promotions

Discount codes such as EARLY30 apply as described when issued. They have no cash value and may be withdrawn for future use.

You will not use Kinereel to create, upload or distribute:

• misinformation or content meant to deceive people, including false claims presented as fact, fake news stories and fabricated quotes;
• content that impersonates a real person or organization, or that clones a voice without that person's permission;
• illegal content, or content that promotes violence, hatred, harassment, sexual exploitation of minors, or self-harm;
• content that infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or other rights;
• malware, or anything that attacks or overloads the Service.

You also will not: bypass credits, limits or watermarks; run automated bulk requests or scrape the Service; reverse engineer it except where the law allows; use outputs to build a competing product; or resell the Service.

You are responsible for the facts in your videos. Kinereel drafts text from your topic. You review and approve the script. Check every number, name and claim before you post, and follow the rules of the platforms where you publish.

We may remove content and suspend or end accounts that break this section.

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased or similar to output we give other users. We do not promise that it is accurate, original, suitable for your purpose or free of third-party rights. You decide whether to use it. Do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions.

Where a law or platform requires you to label AI-generated or synthetic content, you must do so.

You own your videos. As between you and us, you own the topics, scripts and other content you provide and the videos you make with Kinereel, and you can use them commercially, subject to these terms, the rights of others and any plan limits (such as a watermark on Free).

Licence to us. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt and display your content only to run the Service for you: to generate, store, preview and export your videos, to keep it secure, and to support you. This includes sending it to the processors listed in our Privacy Policy. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for backup copies that are overwritten on schedule. We do not use your content to promote Kinereel without asking you, and we do not train AI models on it.

Uploads. Only upload clips, images, logos and voice samples you have the right to use. You confirm that you have all permissions and consents (including from anyone whose voice or likeness appears), and that your upload does not break the law or anyone's rights. You are responsible for it.

Feedback. If you send us ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.

We own the Service: the software, scene engine, presets, sound library, design, name, logo and other materials, except for your content. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service under these terms. Sound effects and other assets in your exported videos are licensed to you for use inside those videos, not for separate resale. Kinereel and its logo are our marks. Do not use them without permission.

You can stop using Kinereel at any time. To delete your account and data, email hello@kinereel.com from your sign-in address. We delete them within 30 days, as the Privacy Policy describes. Cancel any paid plan in Whop first, since deleting your account does not cancel billing at Whop.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, put the Service or others at risk, do not pay, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to download your videos. If we end a paid plan without cause, we will refund the unused part of the current period.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination do, including content ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of output, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We work to keep Kinereel running but do not guarantee availability. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us through Whop in the 12 months before the claim and US$50.

You will defend and compensate us against claims and costs arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these terms, or your violation of anyone's rights.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or intentional misconduct, or removes mandatory consumer rights where you live.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Morocco have jurisdiction over disputes, unless a mandatory rule of consumer law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts. Before filing a claim, please email hello@kinereel.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect, unless the change is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you keep using Kinereel after the effective date, you accept the new terms. If you do not, you can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.
